Arcom Luggage Control System
The Arcom Luggage Control System is a functioning model using Fischertechnik Construction Blocks. The model is comprised of two conveyer belts, joined in an “L” shape. Each belt is driven by a dedicated motor, a vertical “scanner” driven by a third motor and a pusher device by a fourth. An object travels along the first belt, is “scanned” and then is moved onto the second belt by the “Pusher”. The purpose is to simulate a full-scale luggage conveyor system deployed in many airports.
